Who runs this Society?
The Nautilus Society is a Captain Nemo fan site owned and run by Escape This. What’s fact, what’s fiction, and where to dive.
The Nautilus Society is owned and run by Escape This, the company that designed, built and runs Captain Nemo and Kraken: Nemo’s Revenge. Escape This is Australia’s largest escape room operator, and runs its own escape room design studio and escape room factory in Australia. It has venues in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, has hosted more than 500,000 players and has earned 17,969 five-star reviews.
We made a fan club for our own submarine because it has fans, its captain keeps a log and the Beast won’t answer its letters. Someone had to.
What’s real and what isn’t
Real: the Dive page, venues, opening dates, ages, group sizes, the photos of the sets and anything marked “On the record”. These come from Escape This.
Made up: the captain’s log (written in character), Professor Marrow’s notebook, Ensign Brine, Mrs Gale, the legends, the Fathom Gazette and anything marked “Legend has it”. No real players, ships or voyages appear.
